Unfaltering Prayer?

Is there a damage limit? I fooled around with the Sunless Talisman and it screws up if you get hit by more than really weak mobs. So it's quite useless imho. Especially for PvP?

works differently for differrent talisman:

sunlight = unbreakable
canvas/regular = medium poise
saint = anything break
sunless = light poise

Edit: I find canvas or plain talisman works fine for most anything

If i'm not mistaken, the strongest unfaltering prayer talisman is the sunlight talisman.

"The Knight of Sunlight's personal talisman for casting miracles of the Gods".

I bet the spell buff or scaling of these goes in reverse order then, for maximum disappointment. "Look you cannot break my casting but I don't do much damage anyway."

No, actually I think the only one better is the canvas talisman. (Unupgraded, and not considering the chimes, obviously)

sunless = dont know :p

its a trade off, damage vs poise. Depending on how you use it or time it, even just light poise casting has its advantages

Tested with FUMA and UGS and Weapon Arts, the only time i never got a cast off, I died. It possibly is breakable.....but its so high as to make actually reaching the breaking point near improbable enough that its effectively unbreakable.

It doesn't look that much a difference, but I am only 30FTH so I guess my scaling would push the differences. Anyway I will try the sunlight then. Thanks.

you have to remeber that the difference get more noticable as you upgrade catalysts and up faith.

by the by, canvas hits 200 spell buff at 50 fth. 200+ is the point where damage with great lightning spear and sunlight spear become worth the investment; nothing will save lightning spear from being distance poke spam

Could use a sunlight talisman in one hand for jamming sun spears into peoples face, and a sunless talisman or whatever for pewing at range or when your pretty sure you won't get punched.

I do this using yorshka chime(highest miracle casting spell buff with saint talisman as close second)

no, chimes dont get unfaltering prayer. its just a nice offhand catalyst for casting at range
