Ye, it's possible. But it's also possible that B-Team likes ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, and don't like giants.
"This plays really well into something another user posted a while back, talking about the distinction between Giants and Golems. The theory basically ran that most of the "Giants" you see in Drangleic, including in the memories, are Golems harboring Giant souls. Basically, the giants used Golems as a form of reaching immortality, as the bodies don't age and can't be afflicted by the curse. Seeing a Giant with a face could be an indicator that this is in fact an actual, living (dead) Giant, and not one of the Golems we encounter elsewhere."
EDIT: However this is mostly Dark Souls 2 speculations, but it fits. Supposedly there is a Giant's corpse in Dark Souls 2 with a mouth.
Besides, I think that Yhorm the Giant is as much a giant as Havel the Rock is an actual rock.
I don't know! It makes more sense than them having a black hole that eats all the light in their face.
Another idea would be that this hole is a unique Hollow state for the Giants, same as the Undead having a black spot on them as they turn Hollow..
Ou..eeer... oops!
Or drangleiic giants simply have a different physiology than humans and lordran giants. They maybe just need a mouth and no eyes
