Which Game is the Longest for You? (All bosses)
Curious how long it takes everyone to beat these games non-speedrun including DLCs.
I'd say;
Dark Souls: 10 hours.
Dark Souls II: 30 hours.
Dark Souls III: 14 hours.

Let's be honest, DS2 had the most content. And the DLCs are pretty damn big. Of course, we are getting 2 DS3 DLCs within the next year so here's hoping they're long and challenging.

Ds1: 35 hours
Ds2: 70 (I got bored and kept stopping to pvp and make new characters, I think I got around to beating it on my third character)
DS3: 25 hours
Bloodborne: 42 hours (before DLC came out)

1st souls game that one plays is usually the one that takes the longest, whether it's 1, 2, or 3. once you get used to the basic game mechanics (which are similar in all games), then it's cakewalk.for example, ds2 may look like it has more content, but almost each ds3 area is as big as 2x the average ds2 area, overall they're not that different.

for me, for these reasons, the longest was ds1, took me many hours to complete it on my first playthrough, can't tell exactly how many, too long ago

I didn't mean first time or anything. I meant how long does it take you now? Without speedrunning of course.

I'd say 2 is the longest, 1 and 3 are similar in duration if we don't take into account the dlc.

People said 3 was way too short but cmon, 1 can be beaten in a single day. (and is probably the easiest)

a day? lol..
I can do 2 NG cycles in DS3 in about 8 hours easy

Not with all bosses. Or without speedrunning. The walk from HWoL to Grand Archives if you do the other lords first is already atleast 2 hours, not including bosses.

Damn, I spent 80 hours... I did a lot of co-op and pvp though. Ended level 109. Total 128 so far. DS2 Total 140 total and I'm not going back. Dark souls 1 about 200 due to pvp/game mechanics. I remember dying on the first boss about 30 times before finding out how to beat him.

I don't really 'speedrun' per-se, but I do run past irrelevant enemies I don't need to kill, and yes I do all bosses.

I spend around 40 hours for Dark Souls 3, going in blind and doing almost everything (just missed Sirri and a couple of summon stuff), Dark Souls 1 took me around 80 or so, but that was my first contact with the series, I think it would also take me 30-40 hours if I went in with the same experience I had when I started to play 3.

Yeah see running past all un-needed enemies is kinda making the game alot shorter. If you did that in DS1 you'd probably beat it in 3 hours flat.

My first times were:
Dark Souls 1: 19 hours.
Dark Souls 2: 45 hours.
Dark Souls 3: 28 hours.

My first time playing Dark Souls 1 was a nightmare, I had a... let's say "drm-free" copy of it, so no online, no messages, nothing, only help I had was ol' faithful solaire and the other npcs. Plus it was my first souls game, so it took me quite a while to beat it... In fact first time I had to restart becouse I screwed up by killing Oswald and pissing off the female undead merchant and soon after that I got cursed a couple of times in the depths...

I believe Dark Souls 2 for me was the longest, it was mainly because of the amount of time to wait for its release from Dark Souls 1 and I began to play other games

I finished DS2 first because my PC sucked bad. But when i got my new bae I didn't have that much trouble. Maybe it was from being decent at DS2.
