Morne's isn't pure STR. It needs 30 FTH.
But it is one of the biggest and the strongest weapon in the game.
Fume Ultra Greatsword was nerfed, so not the "Greatsword" (Guts' sword) is better.

Heavy gem:
Doesn't mean much.
However, the Spiked Mace gets a great boost, iirc.

Black Knight Greataxe:
36 STR, 18 DEX for what is the best weapon in the game? Yesplz.

well there are other weapons with the likes of greatswords and greataxes but i dunno how they will scale with heavy gem.

thats why im asking because im comparing every greatsword vs this great club and it out scales every weapon so far at least for pure strenght

not sure if you can infuse it but the pickaxe used to be pretty gnarly, not sure about now though
Bandit knife.

did some tests and Yhorms great machete is the best one (i dont have fume in this playthrough)
the great club still is almost as great as Yhorms
and the great club is much better than the great swords in term of pure strenght scaling even with heavy gem

Fume, of course. It has S strength scaling. I have 822 AR at 50 strength.

No you don't. Trust me. +5 - 65 strength and 65 dexterity, two-handed and it gives 722 AR. Even if you buff it with something at 50 strength you're not getting 822 AR.

I stand corrected. If you buffed it, you could very well get 822 AR. CMW on mine and I just got 953.

Lightning Blade gives 920.
Darkmoon Blade gives 962.
Dark Blade gives 900.
Flame weapon gives 930.

Point is, an unbuffed Fume won't give you over 800 AR at 50 strength. However, for OP, if you do get the Fume UGS, it is still possibly the best strength weapon. Awesome scaling (doesn't need an infusion because it already has S in Str) and can be buffed.

I never said it wasn't buffed. :P
90% of higher level players who use buffable weapons use buffs. Clearly no weapon would get that much AR without a buff.
So yes, genius, I actually AM right.

He's talking pure strength, which probably implies he doesn't have much stat investment in faith or int. And secondly, don't give out false or ambiguous data when someone is trying to decide what's best.

You say 822 AR, so he spends all his crap on upgrading Fume thinking it's the best when there's potentially a much better weapon out there. If it's AR when buffed, say that and also say which buff.

Gold pine resin.
Charcoal pine resin.
Human pine resin.
Pale pine resin.

Etc.

You do not need spell stats to buff.
It's not false.
It's not ambiguous.

The point is, FUGS is the best strength weapon because of its S scaling in strength.

The AR I mentioned was only a side note.

Sorry you can't handle that being in there. I don't see how that would damagingly affect the host's choice. I'm not the only one giving input here, obviously.

I wasn't even the first person to mention the Fume.
