Drop Trading Covenant Items

Is the Darkmoon Ring drop tradeable to characters that haven't made it to the Darkmoon Blade Covenant yet? Are there restrictions or prerequisites of any sort regarding this matter?

That's what I figured, however the Fextralife page has comments saying that if you accidentally lost it, the only option was to have another player drop it for you.

I guess if it can't then that's all I needed to know. Thanks!

This is wrong covenant rewards can be traded, only the covenant items used to rank up can't, obiously you can't trade any of the spells since no spell can be traded.

Tell that to literally everyone I've tried to trade my Old Wolf Curved Sword to. Tell that to everyone else that confirms you can't drop it. I tried to drop my Darkmoon ring for someone and they couldn't see that either.

I've helped a friend get his ring achievement by dropping the wolf ring and the dark moon ring, and it worked.

That was a few patches ago though, and i've never tried it with other things than rings.

I've also noticed that sometimes it's buggy. I've lost a wolf ring and a mimic head when i tried droppig them for a friend.
Both items just disappeared, neither of us could see them on the ground.

To prevent that i just drop something worthless first. If the other person can pick it up i drop the real thing.
If not i crystal out and let him summon me again.

I've traded plenty of darkmoon rings, wolf rings, obscuring rings, old wolf curved swords and shields.

They are tradeable.

Players won't see a weapon if it has an higher upgrade that they curently have. That might be the case when they don't see the item.
But like Serrassi said rewards can be traded (minus spells ofc), so don't spread missinformation on the forums.

Ive dropped them and picked em up numerous times with other people. U high or somethin?
Maybe ur weapon upgrade had higher upgreade than the other players' max upgrade?
