Dragon Form
I must say, the dragon form, and "covenant" as a whole is really lackluster in DS3... Not to say it was ever spectacular (I didn't really get to experience it in prior games), but from a design standpoint the dragon form looks like an anorexic-scorched-husk-of-a-lizard-who-dropped-its-tail-to-avoid-a-cat.
The one from DS2 had actual ranking (like all other covenants do) and items to go with the theme... The actual form also looked better, with armour and things.

Can anyone tell me if there's a lore/story reason as to why the dragon form looks so wimpy in DS3, or is it just a design choice by FROM?
Thanks

*shrug* I'm just severely disappointed in the lack of dragon tiddies. And I guess an actual dragon covenant, yeah.

In DS2 dragon form was basically you transforming into super dragon knight.
In DS3 dragon form is basically you transforming into starved goat thing.

Seriously tho - it just looks terrible.

That's because DS2's version was rediculously none-canon.

I am willing to sacrifice canon for decent looking dragons.

Well for a start, there is no covenant. And for second, it's extremely lore friendly what you turn into. DS2's did not make sense what so ever, and nobody can say otherwise. Did new born dragons grow armour? No, new born dragons would look frail, weak, boney, none-muscular.

I'm not. It's lazy.

I never considered the lazy path the better path to take until now.

Besides, they could've always made it lore friendly, by adding some sort of tidbit in there bout the stones and what-not.

Dude. Listen to what you are saying. You'd take DS2's Dragonform because it looks cooler despite the fact that it quite litterally makes no sense. DS3 and DS1 make the most sense. DS3 moreso, as you turn into a descendant.

And in Ds1 you look like the Stone dragon (leader?) of the dragon covenant. The thing from Ds2 is an armor. You´re a guy in a dragon costume.

Dragon Knight.
The Dragon Remnants convenant is not a way for you to become dragon - you're just embracing some of the dragon magic and wear the Dragon Knight armor.

Meanwhile in DS & DS3 you actually are turning into the dragon, or a goat in the latter.

Yeah, but the OP think that the Ds2 was a Dragon form wich is not. Can you dislike the dragon form from Ds1 and/or Ds3? Of course but there are indeed, dragon forms.

So why does your in-game player model extend your snout? Do you get plastic face surgery every time you "grow" the armour?
