2: theres no real 'least' resisted
3: Faith
4: Pretty bad, has a horrid moveset. low damage and cant be buffed
2. Out of Dark Blade, Lightning Blade, Blessed Weapon, Carthus Flame Arc, and Crystal Magic Weapon, there's no real "least," however, lightning and magic tend to be more resisted than others. You can just attune two different ones for when one is resisted.
3. Faith, definitely faith. You have sacred oath, deep protection, and an entire arsenal of various healing miracles.
4. It can be fun, but the damage is relatively negligible comparatively. It's even worse than it has been in the past. I would not recommend it.
Note: do not infuse unless it's raw with low quality stats, or heavy/refined/sharp with a high quality stat. Blessed, chaos, etc. will only decrease your damage.
And yes, MLGS is good. Although I'd say just level up to 55 intelligence and use the scholar ring for the rest.
Edit: sorry, I didn't know you meant Sellsword Twinblades + spell build. But my advice still stands if you're into Mage melee.
You don't even need to touch the attunement stat. I put mine up to 14 so I could get a second spell slot, but that was it. If you want to use it for casting spells as well as just buffing, you may need to cut back a bit on the int and put a few points into attunement, but we'retalking 18 attn / 40 int or something + what ever you have spare after you take into account encumbrance from fashion souls.
Pontiff's right eye, Hunter/Scholar's ring, ring of favor, prisoner's chain.. gives 15 vitality which is generally enough to wear most medium armor, a staff and your primary weapon and be still under the 70% mark.

Here is a good video of one example. Mine is a bit different, I spread my stats out a bit more than this guy did, but it's a great example.
