How is the Lucerne?

Sitting on the high wall, trying pvp with my whole 2 ember on my guy Cataclysm here, and wondering if polearms like that are at all decent. Limited as to the weapons I have..trying to git gud before vordt, so I don't limit my invaders. Worth testing it and the halberd maybe?

Lucerne is one of the most broken weapons in the game.

Lucerne has some excellent counter damage, it's hard to use but is great when wielded properly

It's pretty good for PVP, and suprisingly versitile in PVE as well.

The edgey invaders are adorable. Point downs and everything. And that wiff wiff of the parry spam.

Polearms are pretty good in DS3, especially the Lucerne with its counterdamage. The Glaive is also a good one except it deals slashy damage and deals more damage.
