does anyone feel bad about the old demon king when hes at his last phase, were he cant fight?

the reason I made this is because when I was gonna kill him he did everything but he couldnt do anything you could see how he struggles to fight, he cant even lift his hammer!

Would be cool if it tied into some pyro lore or something if you were playing pyro. But yea it is a demon..die demon! Same kinda thing happens when you kill the stone demon above the Old Wolf. You break his legs clean off lol and he kinda swings around in a sad way.

Actually he can hit you pretty hard when it this state. He punched me a couple of times and it REALLY hurt.
Other than - yes. It's very sad to kill the old man. He's both old and the last one of his kind. I wonder why does he fights us so desperately... In fact i wonder why all of the bosses in the game do. What's their reason? It's not like we attack first, right? I mean okay, Nameless King was Hollowed, Dragonslayer Armour is possesed and Prince Lotric is a d*ck. But what about Yhorm? Watchers? These guys do not sound like bad guys at all...

they probably went mad, the watchers noticed how you may be a threat, or maybe u have some abyss (or probably is that because they're cursed they see that you have it while you dont) Yhorm you entered his territory and hes lost his mind, as siegward says (I think) Vordt and dancer Sulyvahn put em there for u to not go trough Iedux gundyr pus of man, champion gundyr maybe he tought you were a duel?

Well yes, it seems that Yhorm really did went insane. He even forsaw it and gave Siegward Storm Ruler before-hand when he went to link the fire - so Siegward would make sure that he won't turn his back.
Abyss Watchers are either also went insane / corrupted and think you are just an another threat, or they actually do not care for the fire anymore and think that holding back the abyss is more important.
Sulyvahn and all inhabitants of Boreal Volley and Irithryll are simply d*cks, Aldrich included so i'm okay with that.
Gundyr is there to test you. At least in our first fight, in the second encounter he has red eyes in his second stage. And in world of Dark Souls - red eyes mean bad stuff: that the person is corrupted by the Abyss (3rd abyss watcher for example). So probably went insane.
Nameless King is either hollowed or he just really doesn't like you. Or maybe you literally called him out for a duel with that bell. Basically an epic way of saying "i'm gonna rekt ya mate, swearin' me mum!".
Lothric is a d*ck that simply doesn't care about the fire anymore and his big-bro is just following him blindly.
Demon King... Eh, i don't know. He's a demon. Demons must destroy and kill. So that probably what he does. All better than just lay there and die from old age, right?...
Dragonslayer Armour is possesed by those pilligrim-butterflies for one reason or another.
And everyone else: gone insane / hollowed / corrupted / monsters by default.

And finally - Soul of Cinder. Who either wants to protect the flame from you (because it's not sure that you're going to link it) or it tries to test you - if you are actually worthy of this.
Makes you wonder if others Lords of Cinder had to fight Soul of Cinder too.
