Halberds Vs. Glaives

Under the category of all halberds, there are two main movesets. The halberd moveset, and the glaive moveset. I want to know, which do you prefer? I've always loved glaives, but I would like to see the other side as well.

Isn't that like the same thing? Black Knight Glaive and Gundyr's Halvers have exactly the same movesets... Or do you mean the actuall halberds, like the one used by Horace? The pocking thing?

There's a poking moveset and a swinging moveset. He's asking which one you prefer: poke or swing.

I prefer swings. Allows some AOE action + i believe pocking moveset doesn't has hyperarmor. Besides the pocking animation looks weird to me... When i saw it for the first time i laughed on the inside. It's basically a spear with a weird animation.

The glaive moveset is better imo.

Poking is faster but the slashing moveset has some hyperarmour and has an aoe blast that staggers enemies that you just don't reach. I haven't seen to many poking halberd users at all, people mostly go with the black k***ht halberd, gungyr's glaive or the basic glaive as they are either stronger or longer and have better weapon arts.

Yeah, I think the census is that the slashes are better, and I definitely agree. The hyperarmor and shockwaves rock, and the spin combos are really fun.
