Seamless Co-Op Mod for DS3?
Hello, I think most people know the Seamless Co-Op Mod for elding ring, I wanted to ask if there is any group working in one for DS3 and if this game community would want to have one too.

some stuff it does:

-If a player dies, they will respawn in the same world at the last bonfire they rested at. The session will not be terminated.
-Defeating enemy bosses and clearing areas no longer sends co-operators home.
-All fog walls/barriers that usually restrict the multiplayer zone (along with their respective teleports) are gone.
-Game progression events completed in online play will also progress the game in your own world.

I am not sure of this one but I think you cant be invaded.

Yes I play this game a lot, also if that is the people you consider the majority then there would be no problem with the mod, since they will not use it.
Online? You're assuming those who want the mod aren't playing online now, which is false: they just want a different online experience should it exist.
We would still get the pvp-ers but we'd lose the coop worlds: they're still a significant portion of the activity.
Tldr: seamless coop splits the playerbase, which can't afford to be split.

Yes online, how else I could do dried fingers runs? (I consider these pve), and what is the point of keeping a group of players forcefully together? because they might as well leave by that point too, keeping different types of players separate so they can enjoy what their want to the fullest seems better, if pvp is as center of things as the pvp community believes then they will stay and if not, well, results.

remember that the one culprit that kills off ELDEN RING multiplayer is this mod!

if you people think that it'll only affects PVPers you're DEAD WRONG.

it'll affect the White Signs/Sunbros, Policemens aka DARKMOON BLADE/BS, and ofc people who wants to grind for Covenant items at specific SL.

and pray to God that Luke Yui think on this before splitting the playerbase and killing off Multiplayer on PC. because thanks to that Mod ELDEN RING a barren Wasteland with no Multiplayer Activity. barely anyone touches your gold signs, Blue Hunters barely got summons, and Red got nobody to invade.

and then that's what left us with? a DEAD Game not from Player count WISE but from Multiplayer Activity WISE.

and i pray this Seamless Co-op mod for DS3 never HAPPENS at all! if i could play the game without it back in 2018 then so do you!

in short this mod just gonna ruined the classic and unique multiplayer encounters that SOULS Games has and just turned into another Borderlands or DEAD RISING Knock offs.

Part of the game is the multiplayer aspect in terms of advantage and disadvantage. Hosts that are embered have an advantage and thus need a disadvantage. Seamless co-op would cut that entirely out. When a host gets 30% extra hp, and or phantoms then there are invaders to balance it out. Even if invaders are still disadvantaged for the most part. So it becomes either play the game offline or play online and experience the game in its entirety, not hacksawed into only the pieces you like. That then creates a larger playerbase that keeps the game alive, and creates a community. If people want to play this game all fairy tale like then they should look for other games that are fairy tale like.
ER pvp is such a colossal piece of garbage that I don't even blame casuls for playing with seamless co-op

...did you say you do dry finger runs? No, you didn't lol.
In order to have frequent activity, you need a decent number of players on the same server. If a significant portion of players (probably a minority but still a good number) move to a different server, there will be fewer coop opportunities (without coordination), fewer signs and fewer invasions. This is almost literally supply and demand.

Nah I want a coop menu and level select bro
If it happen with Elden Ring, then it will happen to the rest of the
Dark Souls games. It's just a matter of time.

Just use DS3OS and setup a private server to play with your friends
Sadly no. I really wanna have that in DS3.

Dont listen to that just enjoy your game however you like ☺️
The problem with this way of thinking is it explicitly excludes invaders, which are a legitimate part of the game experience.
To the OP, you want the Seamless Co-Op mod, go play Elden Ring, leave DS3 sacred for the people who actually like the game for what it is meant to be.

but elden ring got PVP and that how the game is ment to be in your eyes too but we just use a mod to enjoy NO PVP like im a person that loves to play the game in co op enjoy the game first full PVE and me and my wife go for 1 time 100% compleation then i make a new caracter i know what to do and i go try PVP for the first time

but its people like you that littarly are like PVP as option is bad yet sniper elite 5 invasion is doing pretty well

eh not really you PVPers just want to feel better by your self to 1 shot new players or do a glitch or what ever like the last time i had longago when i dit PVP with my wife full CO OP got invaided by 4 blue looking players guys then 1 shot me over and over and they came back every time i summon my wife that whas trying to teach me the game after that i just lefted the game and never came back

why will i love a MOD like this simple easy co op no end co op when you kill 1 boss and no invasions to get HARRASSED by those kind of Pvpers its people like you that i lefted this game in the first place and went to Nioh2 and ironicly i have been playing offline mode DS3 those bosses are way easyer then Nioh2 bosses

but yeah if the devs added PVP as a option instead hey you can co op but your FORCED to pvp maybe this mods wont even have EXSISTED and maybe if the devs where smarter they shud have maked some PVP exclusive weapon quests you can only get in PVP and you need to make a new caracter to activate PVP but eh you do you guys just be negetive in your hole life

Simply no. DS3 already only has like 7k people playing and a low pool of people anyone can invade at lvl 110, we don't need that pool getting less populated. So no, we don't want seamless co op in 3 thank you.

well if people do co op alot more then PVP then that says something about the Numbers there dont you think ?that just means alot people just want to have fun in the game instead of getting Grieft or PVP stomped all the time just saying
