Havel's ring need a buff.
Havel's Ring (ds1 version):

Use

Wearing the ring raises maximum equipment burden by 50%

Availability

Havel The Rock drop

Havel's Ring (ds3 version):

Increases maximum equip load by 15%

+1 Version : +17%

+2 Version : +18%

with ring of favor+2 +7%, then 7%+18= 25% maximum extra equip load.
havel's ring should give something like 40%-50%. it's has such low % of extra equip load.

I would't care fat rolling if we had any poise system but, if you fat roll in this game, you are dead.

didn't Havel himself midroll in dark souls 1 and midrolling is the same as fat rolling in this game

I don't think Havel was up to date on the pvp meta.

tbf all rings have been nerfed in ds3 because you have 4 ring slots as opposed to 2.

there's no other ring than havel's and favor, like in ds1, so having 4 slots isn't a excuse.

TBH I think the original version of the ring is fine, but EVERY +1 and +2 ring needs a buff. Cmon only 1% increases with every ring? The ♥♥♥♥?

yes but it's not just flat into one stat. say in ds1 you wore hornet ring and havels ring.

in ds3, you could wear havels, hornet, ring of favour and have a fourth slot to change over (like Lloyd's shield ring swap to sun princess etc)

let's say I don't want to use hornet, I want to be tank as ♥♥♥♥, the I go for favor, havel's, life and steel protection, I still need to be on a very very high level to be able to use a heavy armour a heavy weapon and a great shield without fat rolling cause, as I said, fat roll in this game means death.

30% on havel's +2 would be enough I guess.

Yup, more than enoough, the 50% bonus it gave in 1 was way too much.
