Buff Smough's Great Hammer
It has a B scaling, lower damage and speed than the great club, can't be infused or buffed, and has a common an uninteresting skill. Its smough's great hammer. This needs to be buffed, it really doesn't compare to other great weapons, like the great club. The skill should be something unique, like a buttslam or a charge, and it needs to have better scaling. Also, when two handed it blocks your view of your target. How bad can it get? It should have the idle animation like smough that has the head of the hammer to the side. This weapon right now is a filler weapon, the mesh is the only part that is different than other weapons. I guess the jump is cool, but it will never be viable in pvp. On top of all of this, its 24 weight! I have 40 vitality, and this is still close to a third of my weight. And the great club? Only 12 weight. This needs some kind of buff to make it viable.

that or make great weapons have more active frames because rolling takes skill.

SGH really only exists to be kept for back pocket parries or weapon swap parries.

I suppose the trick is that it has a huuuge range, based on how freakin long the model is...

Just look at spells, they have huge range. Are they viable in pvp? They are easy to dodge, and same goes for smoughs great hammer.

205 base damage unupgraded. It's a good weapon man.

It really can't compete with the great club, no matter how good its damage is. The great club will still be better.

I feel that there aren't enough good sorceries, and the good ones seem to be good just because they are the hardest to dodge. Even in PvE you need to sacrafice estus for ashen estus. I really think it needs a buff. If you like sorceries and do well with them, than you are one of few.

There is literally no reason to use this weapon unless you are mega bored, and it doesn't make sense a weapon of that size does less damage than all the ultra greatswords and ultra hammers.

I am using the weapon for PvP cosplaying, and it has only worked sometimes at sl 100 or less, so I doubt it will work very good at 120, when people are only there for PvP, not PvE.
