What are your Dark Souls 3 PC settings?
I recently bought a pc with a gtx 970 in it and was wondering what other peoples settings were in game to get the smoothest gaming experience, or if you do anything extra to the settings at all.

thanks,
dean

whats your resolution? it seems this game runs better on nvidia cards than AMD as tested by reviewers, i dont think settings matter all that much as no matter what you put it on youll get solid 60 (unless 4k) with a 970 and decent cpu no reason why you couldnt put everything to max and play just fine. Remember this is a console port so not a lot for the pc master race crowd :( I have a fury x and 4690k @ 4.8ghz and play ultra @ 1440p and never drop below 60, iv also tried it at 4k on a friends monitor but got some nasty drops all over the place at any settings, best was 40fps in firelink shrine.

In my AMD radeon driver settings i have freesync enabled along with everything turned on high, like textures etc.

Hope this helps

Well, you should be able to crank it up to maximum settings or nearly and still get 60 fps with that card, assuming your CPU is fine too, just one thing to keep in mind is enabling Vsync will bring you the smoothest experience so be sure to activate that unless you want tearing and less input lag, that is up to you.

Normal settings on a gtx 1080, vsync off, capped at 60. DS is one of those games you dont want spikes or dropes. Previous titles had those already enough :) *horror flashbacks of blightown/Valley Of Defilement*

Looks awesome on medium though:P And if i remember the comparision at launch correctly, its really small differences between the settings.

But again, because you can run higher. Doesn't mean you should run higher. Especialy with DS or competitive games :)

How does one turn off vsync? Through game settings?
