So im in journey 6 i think, and gael is near impossible for me to beat.
Tried rolling, doesnt work, he catches me mid roll with his chain attacks. tried blocking, stamina gone, boom he 3 shots me. Try a combination of both, got anihilated aswell.
Any advice on how to beat the guy? Also coop doesnt work cause im banned by the awesome anticheat...

Cant bring friends, anticheat decided to ban me....
The problem is, even if i use poison, damn gael wont leave me a second to breathe. I cant regain stamina or heal or anything properly. This boss was tough up to playthrough 5, but in 6... i just cant beat him.
Then again im not the best DS player.

U can also play with other banned player

ds3 ban you from multiplayer though?

I personally think that Gael has the most gentle moveset for dodging. Every his attack can be avoided.

Poison, of course, speeds the fight. You may use rotten ghru dagger with poison infusion for that. Strategy is to poison Gael and then switch to another weapon with lightning or bleed damage. Or just use the dagger with poison infusion, so then you'll get the poison and bleed altogether.

Gael's weaknesses: strike, frostbite, poison, toxic
Gael's resistances: slash, dark, bleed

On the second phase he goes hollow therefore Hollowslayer takes him additional damage. For all phases tho he's treated as an abyssal enemy so you can take advantage from Farron Greatsword and Wolf Knight's Greatsword as well.
