Why does everything kills me wtih 2 hits?

I mean msot enemies in the game inculding bosses and mobs kills me with less than 4 hits. Sometiems i can get to 3 if the enemy is weak but i get 2 hitet too often. Enemy players do kill me with 2-3 hits too when i ahve to hit them like 7-8 times.

I get it estus is the metric that how many msitakes you can make atc. But I bately can use them cuz I just get bursted down by enemies and stunlocked. Often done by 2-3 hits.

Funny thing last night, my lad was watching me. I trotted over to the Stray Demon and I sais to my lad "you suppose this Demon is weak to fire?"...

At which point Stray Demon clubs me and then as I get up he boulder heaves me and I die (2 hits, see what I did there).

My lad waits a couple of minutes until I get back up to Stray Demon to recover my bloodstain and says "Dunno dad, cos he killed you too quickly".

Pve is not that bad cuz i get around it but other players just eliminate me.

30 vigor is quite low unless youre using both Favor 3 and Prisoner chains

So i gotta have 40+ vigor jsut to not get oneshoted?

If you get hit a lot invest in vigor and a heavy melee build. And get a shield with 100 percent physical protection. But still you'll need to get better at rolling and avoid hits which can take some time for new players. So don't worry about it too much and try to enjoy the learning curve :D sooner or later you'll be getting used to it and will kill enemies after few tries.

Between 35 and 40 is what most people aim for, especially if they are going with melee mostly and not casting

I didnt say I die often i can roll em I am pretty good at iframes and parry too. Its just when ia ccidently got hit cuz its happens I just bumm disappear. I coudl put some more stat into vigor. But heavy gear is not an option for me and I sue a aprrys hield.

If you go for parries then you need to learns how to roll and well parry, i also recommend you a fast weapon, some of the best bosses to practice rolling is Pontiff and Gael
