I don't think many noticed, but did you notice she just quick stepped through the whole fight?
I just can't seem to not notice after playing BBorne since you quickstep and dodge everything
so... Quick step + Female boss = Lady Maria (minus dual katanas) enough for me :D
but I like both her and Maria's fight so much
Yes, it appeared to be a reference to Priscilla, though upon close inspection it's a doll and not a corpse. It's sorta implied that the painted world is the same painted world from DS1 as well (Ariandel's boss weapon description).
Didn't trick me as I stood in the fire thingy and took damage from it on her "corpse" so I knew something was up. Still think it's a bit sad for a boss to be stunlocked so easily (and parried and i read somewhere that she can be backstabbed as well).
Over three Souls games I've never managed to parry anyone or anything.
Greatshield all the way because of that.
