Draw Distance Slider/Options
In all honesty this game is absolutely beautiful and has the potential to be very immersive, if you have the specs to support it that is.

Then you have the peasants such as myself who don't have a high end computer and are stuck with the lowest graphics settings and still have a framerate of less than online acceptable.

A draw distance slider would be incredibly useful as it could decrease the amount of this beautiful game shown at once, and could save many a player quite a lot of head ache.

Currently people like myself have two choices:

Play the game at sub 30 fps with input lag and graphics reminiscent of tetris, with an inability to play online

Or

Risk a soft ban and download mods to edit game files to add a makeshift Draw Distance Slider.

Draw Distance Sliders work in many games, from Minecraft to Dying Light to Others, it works for all of them and has made them much more functional as being able to see from one end of the world to the other isn't exactly necessary most of the time and seems to be unnecessarily taxing.

I don't know if this applies to anyone else, but if it does, I'm sorry you can't enjoy this game either, and if I'm totally off base, feel free to call me an idiot as is customary on the internet.

Random Tidbit: My Computer sounds like the flywheels in a nerf gun when I try to play DS 3

Also, if there is any way to make the game run faster outside of rendering the quality settings to minimum or off, I would appreciate the help.

The game is a VERY bad port. It is asthetically identical to the ps4 version in every way: most notably the LOD scaling.

Its almost entirely cpu reliant and uses mostly 1 core. On my machine I get 70% usage on one core and 30-40% on the others. Its why the fps is so inconsistent without some kind of limiter.

Fromsoft cannot code for pc. There are a ton of issues in this game that have never been fixed in the 6.5 months its been out. All they've done is tweak the weapon stats.

The phyre engine is also very unique in that any attempt to mess with its timings etc lead to weird issues. You've probably noticed for example that locking the fps below 60 increases the load times. Trying to mess with how it renders geometry is only asking for trouble lol.

That's not the same as messing with geometry, that is usually under object texture quality, this is a bit simpler, its coding so that a certain distance from the player it stops rendering like decreasing video quality in subnautica does decrease draw distance by not rendering map tiles that are further away, but I do understand the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ engine is kinda rubish on PC, like the only reason 1 & 2 skate by with little trouble is because they are significantly less intensive.

I mean I could be off base with this logic, but in most games draw distance isn't the hardest thing to code in my limited experiance, no easy feat, but I have a feeling if FromSoft actually tried they could get away with it.
