What would you consider to be the best/worst damage type?

From pure physical to the elemental types what would you consider for you to use across the entire SoulsBorne franchise? Mine is the Bleed/Frost mix and the Physical/Slash mix and my most hated of all types is Toxicity and Lightning

Standart damage is the best because its the most universal. There's very few enemies that its specifically good or bad against. Just good damage to have.

All other damage types are situational. Even physical ones.
Thrust is my personal favorite, but it sucks against skeletons in particular wjich annoys me.

Slash i believe to be the worst, since it sucks against armored or thick skinned enemies.

Elementals are all give or take. I completed DS3 with moonlight GS and i HATED the crystal sage and Aldrich bossfights because those bastards were resistant to magic.

All and all if i wanted to complete the entire game with little hassle as possible... I would just go classic sword and shield. No problems that way.
