In Dark Souls III there are weapons dedicated to wielding them with both hands. Like winged knight axes.

There is no dual weilding in Dark Souls 3.
Instead, there are paired weapon, who are equiped into a single slot.

There 's winged knight axes, which is dual weilded pair of axes.

There are dual weilds for pretty much every weapon class out there.

What these guy are saying is that you cannot chain attack with both at the same time like you might have been able to do in DS2. You CAN equip them both at the same time (one in each hand), but you won't be able to attack with both at the same time.

Thanks for the replies guys, I fogot that you can't duel wield any weapons in this game like DS 2.

Wish you could. Bring the estus and weapon skill system from DS3 and the duel wielding system from DS2 to DS4 and we are all good. Oh wait...

I was confused by the decision to not allow pairing of weapons in DS3. This mechanic really set DS2 apart from the other installments. Despite the hate that it gets, this was a fun mechanic even if it was a stamina hog. Then again, maybe they were still refining it for Elden Ring. It was very strange doing full damage when thrusting a hammer with a rapier :steammocking:

And you are late, Necro Blue. Though, indeed, Elden Ring was everything I wanted in a sequel game plus more.

DS3 is not a scrub game. That's the answer.
