Is anyone else *bored* by Ashes of Ariandel?
I've done about half of the DLC so far, I'm just really really bored. The areas are all filled with trash mobs and really long windy paths to get to a couple disappointing items. I circled behind 4 buildings and sliced through about 50 crows, just to get... a Large Soul? Not to mention 90% of the challenging encounters are jumpscares/enemies running in from off-screen. This feels like a B-grade indie game rather than Dark Souls.

agreed the final boss wont be boring tho :)
Hahahaha just wait till you get to the ringed City...
This DLC truely lives up to the Dark Souls 3 experience...

Which is, that the game itself isnt difficult at all... just ganks ganks ganks and more ganks...

I'm definitely bored by Ashes of Ariandel DLC. I did it just to get Vilhelm's set.

The locations aren't designed well, and the beginning shows it. A gank of Farron Followers. After this battle, you may know what From Software wants to give you. I'm glad I've done Friede as the first boss. Champion's Gravetender and his Greatwolf are pretty boring, especially the humanoid enemy. Like, you just need three things to cosplay Gravetender and it's seriously that easy. Not to mention that the fight looks like your average PvP experience. At least the Greatwolf is an O.K fight.

The Ringed City is much, much better, and I'd recommend doing them instead of Ashes of Ariandel.

I thought the Corvian town was bad... The snowy mountain area is even worse. NOTHING here is hard, it just takes forever.

Honestly after my first playthrough I just run through the whole area using Invis, grabbing any interesting item on the way. Takes like half an hour.
