Sharp, and then buff it with lightning blade/resin.

blessed works fine too. Keeps shivs from murdering you as well

Blessed or lightning if you want high continuous damage, sharp with lightning blade if you want insane damage for about 60 seconds at a time.

That's just bad advice. Blessed infusion has reduced damage and can't be buffed, and you'd get a better HP regen effect from the Blessed Weapon miracle (plus a physical damage buff, rather than the nerf that comes with the Blessed infusion,) or the Sun Princess Ring.

Unless if you are a FAITH BUILD.
It actually does pretty good damage with blessed or lightning.

I think the Lothric Knight UGS and the Dragonslayers axe are really the only weapons that can actually benefit from blessed infusion.

Just checked on soulsplanner as well. At 60 faith and base stats: Yorshka chime lightning blade on a heavy 2-handed Lothric UGS gives 850 AR. 441 physical, 409 lightning. However, it only has 615 unbuffed, 441 physical and 174 lightning.

Lightning infused: 688 AR in total, 210 physical and 478 lightning.

Blessed infused: 715 AR in total, 471 physical and 244 lightning.

So a buffed sharp/heavy/refined depending on stats is best, but blessed is also great if you don't want to have to buff for that high damage.

Damn, thanks for the doing the math on that one! I have 40/40/0/60 so that works for me

Nah, didn't do any maths. Just put the stats and infusions on the soulsplanner website and it told me the AR of the weapons. It's really useful for planning out builds.

with 60 faith and a blessed infusion it has 715 ar 2 handed reason being is that it gains an S scaling in faith, which in turns gives it a massive lightning AND physical scaling boost

though yes, sharp + weapon makes for some insane damage
