need advice on killing aldrich with dorhys gnawing

long story short, im doing a sl13 dark hand twink run. started as deprived, put 12 levels into vigor, and am using dark clutch ring and prisoners chain. i re-speced to 22 faith and used the preistess ring to be able to use dorhys gnawing on aldrich, and then freide and demon prince so i can get the blindfold mask. im using an unupgraded clerics sacred chime, and it takes two hits to proc bleed on aldrich. anything i can do to bring that down to one?

I prefer to use a bloody infused Bandits Knife against Aldrich. Works pretty well, even on low level and high ng++++.....

oh trust me ive done it plenty of times now, the issue is those damn magic orbs. they keep whittling away at my health and prevent me from taking shots, and they get my health low enough to get one shotted by any of his melee attacks or his magic missile. its a very hectic fight

i was considering that, but i only have 10 dex and would need 12. in theory, i could take two points off of faith and into dex and still be able to use dg. that way i could prep him up with the knife and use dg to proc the bleed

you can completely trivialize aldrich with a quickstep dagger buffed with carthus rouge.

Ooh that does sound good. I don't have the grave warden ashes or enough dex for the bandits knife but if I go for the ashes I could pick up the milk ring on the way

fair enough, but its not just to twink. its also to challenge myself, as ive already finished NG+ on two separate builds and wanted something more difficult. and when i do twink, i play chaotic good; i try and show the host ill help them and if they dont attack me i lead them to the area boss and as many items in the area as i can remember with prism stones and give them some items to help with the boss

You don't need 12 dex. Just equipe the Cartus Milk Ring, problem solved.
