So i finally started this mod (and i hope my DS3 saves are not gone forever xD)
and now iam confused wot class i wanna or must play. Are there any tips wot i need necessarily ? Wot kind of magic (earth, wind ????) ?

first thing, use the mod on an alt account with family share enabled, its safer. second the focus of the mod from what i was able to understand is a better magic system, you have regenerative mana and a lot more spells. the sorceries, mancies and summons are all good. my first playtrough im using druid cuz it summons animals and it deals damage over time which is a bless from heaven cuz this mod is hard

An alt account with family share isn't necessary, just play the game offline. Convergence checks to make sure you're offline when you start. Put your vanilla saves in another folder. Email it to yourself to make sure. Delete DS3 associated folders when done including the one in Appdata then reinstall and replace your vanilla save.

Play around with the classes. I started out as a Blood Mage but the attacks at the lower level are weak until you start finding tomes and/or reach Rosaria. I transitioned into using lightning attacks coupled with using summons. Now, I use a variation of Holy Miracles, Conjurations, Light Spells, Dark Magic, Summons, the Gravelord Scythe and Gravelord set which grants less FP usage for miracles and HP regeneration. I had 4 rings and Sunlight covenant giving me 65% boost in lightning attacks. I would get even more with the Sunlight Set but I hate how it looks, sry Solaire

I'm now pretty much a combination of all magic classes with the exception of Pyromancy.

Remember to a save the Soul of Greater Foes to get rings. They grant special effects no matter abilities you end up using.

Misc advice: just be careful, especially @ lower levels. Some mobs have no problems chasing you all the way to Timbuktu. Don't bite off more than you can chew. This mod is definitely more challenging than vanilla. Also, Pontiff is the last Soul of Cinder, so you'll have to defeat Lothric+Lorian then head back to Firelink Shrine for the portal. He is no joke. Good luck.

Some things may have changed between updates. I'm using 2.0 and I'm aware there's 2.1 where a few things have been updated but I can't be bothered to use that one.

Also, anyone have the issue where you've defeated Osiris (Gundyr) but the flame isn't lit in Kindled Colosseum?

Thx u bot yep i only gonna play it offline....not interested in PvP for this mod. My old saves are well restored :P
I started now as Cryomancer with a variation of Frost+Dark spells + minions xD
Lets see if it works....
btw: first boss was ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ easy with frostbites xDD

Is there a way to remove these annoying graphic pixels on my avatar ? Turns up after traveling to another bf...i always have to cancel game...

I've envier encountered that issue but you can try installing the vanilla textures. It's one of the optional files of the Convergence Mod. Can you take a screenshot of what you're describing?

Oh wow, I've never seen that before. I'm assuming that never happened in vanilla and all your drivers are up to date? You may have to reinstall the mod. Did you use the installer or download the 2GB zip? I used the zip as the installer kept stopping and giving me an error.

yep made the last update before the installation and i choosed the installer....hmm maybe i should do the manual download ?!

If you have the internet speed, it wouldn't hurt to try. Uninstall the mod then copy and paste the files from the zip.

if you backup your save like you do with your vanilla pg all SHOULD be safe, im not 100% sure but i always delete the mod files in the game when i return to vanilla and switch between saves with no problems

if you have already downloaded it you shouldnt download again, just transfer the files once more
