So what are some good rings that boost damage?
So I realized Flynn's ring is useless if you use a great club.

Lingering dragoncrest ring +2, then cast blessed weapon.

Red tearstone ring (and morion blade), lloyd's sword ring.

Maybe chloranthy +3? it doesn't increase damage but more stamina when using an ultra is always good.
Pretty much all of the damage boosting rings are situational, and therefore mostly useless to someone who's not made a build to use them. The RTSR gives a big boost to all damage, but only when under 20% health, which I'm sure you can see why this won't work for most people. The clutch rings increase elemental damage, but also increase the amount of damage you take. Your best bet would just be to go get the Knight ring and wear that

clutch rings are crap against pvp - only use for pve.

The lack of Hornet Ring mentions is disturbing.

Well, you could use a Knight ring for the +5 strength seeing as you're using a Great club. Though it's normally best to only use it at the lower levels.

Are you trolling? Blessed Weapon increases a weapon's AR by 7.5%. Unless your weapon's base AR is well over 1000 (it's not,) it's inferior to every other weapon buff.

And the Chloranthy Ring increases stamina recovery rate, not maximum stamina.

The reason why people go with blessed weapon is due to the fact it adds pure physical damage. And while yes, it doesn't add a ton, but it's great to put on higher damaging weapons. Hence why it's so popular on Exile Curved Greatsword and the Splitleaf "Greatsword".

I love the clubs because war cry does war cry stack with any other damage buff?
Yallus Oct 21, 2017 @ 7:54pm
Warcry cancels out previous buffs, at least the ones I've tried. Depending on the situation, the rings you're looking at will be Red Tearstone Ring (more damage on low health), Knight's Ring (more strength), Hornet Ring (more damage from ripostes and backstabs), Lloyd's Sword Ring (more damage when on full health - use only if you play very cautiously, and learn to ring swap as soon as you take damage).

Most reliable damage boosting rings are tied to a specific elemental damage type, such as fire or dark. If you're purely physical, I'd recommend more stamina via Ring of Favor or Chloranthy Ring over things like Knight's Ring or Lloyd's Sword Ring. The more attacks you can perform with stamina to spare, the safer you are overall, and since you can't do damage while you're dead, it's something to consider.

No, it's overridden by other weapon buffs...pretty sure the same applies to body buffs, but I'm not certain.

Does war cry count count as a spell if so I have the ring that extends spell duration.

Are you sure? Warcry on my DS Axe seems to remove Lightning Resin, though maybe that's different with actual spell buffs?

Warcry removes Resin.
Resin removes Warcry.

Got it?
