I am confused about the Shira Questline. Need Help

So I want to have the Crucifix of the Mad King, but the problem is that i killed Gael before Midir and Shira doesnt invade me. Is there another way of getting the Crucifix of the Mad King besides going into ng+?

i'd say you went into wrong area
go into that church ruin and wait

Is Midir down or still alive? Pretty sure you have to kill him to get invaded. Gael shouldn't matter.

I've killed Midir after Shira invades, as well as before... Her invasion also takes place in Gael's arena, so I'd assume she's linked to Gael

You can enter there as soon as you kill her after she invades you.

Once Midir is dead, I believe, the door opens and you can get her stuff... Not sure if the Cruxifix spawns there, though

Are you sure your in the right area, just tried it. All dlc bosses are dead and she invaded me still. Took a few seconds after reaching the back of the room

You can meet Shira in the Gaels boss area. Go there in the right direction. Has nothing to do with Midir or Shiras room.
