Gundyr Parry

I'm trying to beat Iudex Gundyr only with parries and ripostes, and I have the first phase down, but I am unable to get much ground in the second phase. Is he parryable in the second phase? If so which attacks are? Thanks!

only his halberd attacks are parriable in the second phase which come out very rarely. i'd just say punch him to death on the second phase and that'll be masochistic enough

He is, but he's faster and has longer range, so the timing is a little different.

Thanks for the info! I tried it a couple times and I managed to get a couple partial parries but I'll have to practice. And I'm doing it with my fists as well so this will take a while lol.

It's hard to tell what attacks he is doing in the second phase, wish he wasn't so big.

I'd stick with dodging stuff like the charge (which can only be parried on the sweep, not the charge itself) or the delayed 2-handed swipe, and go for the parries on the overheads, as they take a while to land
