Game Crashes when I Die?
Or sometimes at random. I used to play it fine, the only thing changed in my PC is that I changed my GPU from a nvidia 1050ti to a RX580,

Wait really? Are you certain? How often? Mine it's a bit random, it happens more often when dying but sometimes it randomly does it in battle.

If it's not a GPU issue then what could it possibly be? I have the same PC I finished this game on before minus the different GPU.

I tried offline, window mode, lowest graphics. The only thing it might be is overlay which I've read may cause issues? But I disable all the ones I could aswell. Unless it's the Steam overlay guess I didn't try that.
restart your gpu

I'm using a GTX1060 6GB, the game crashes when my character dies once in a while.

I thought it might have been related to being killed by an invader, but I played and died without any invader and still it crashed, it's rare that it happens but it still happens.

Hm, on mine is a bit random, ive played close to 2 hours without an issue but had it crashes with 20 minutes or less. I have no idea how to fix this, guess i'll never play DS3 again forever? Wonder if its some windows 10 issue, i can't get a fresh install too much work stuff to backup, sigh, oh whelp.

changing gpu can be abit messy at one time since the more complicated your build, more sensitive it gets.

I would start by clear uninstall old drivers from your nvidia. there are few softwares to do that or unless you are confident to clear windows registry yourself.

as long there is no bluescreen, screen freezing, or anything that made your PC stopped functioning, that means there is no hardware problem

not and ad but...
I use Driver Fusion (available on Steam now) using it for awhile back, when I was benchmarking (had to change hardwares so often), and this helped me solves some "unfinished" driver uninstallation

Oh I did a clean install when i changed the GPU just to be sure back then, completely new windows, 100% cleaned everything up. Every other game works I just seen to have trouble with this one. I dunny maybe theres parts of my hardware that are still funky (Motherboard prolly), but still, really weird that its just this one specific game. I'll check that app out aswell.
