vertebra shackle pve drop rate

its normal for vertebra shackle to have that low drop rate in pve? 1 vertebra per 1h is insane low (i killing 4enemies per 1min. with 425item discoverity) red orb no more can find me someone to invade as mound maker with this character. finger has highest drop rate, for grassword for farron watchdogs i spend like ~7h? darkmoon covenant also like 7h but vertebra? thats insane.

Vertebra shackle has the lowest drop rate of all the covenant items.

At 425 Item Discovery, the drop rate is abysmal. Try raising your Item Discovery to at least 465 and you would get on average a Vertebra Shackle for every 26 large skeleton you kill.

im farming on this 2 skeletons in first bonfire IN carthus catacombs. so raising ID by 50lvls should make really big difference?

I would say, try it and see what happens. Also use Rusted Coins if you have souls to purchase them. If you can, try to kill other large skeletons as well. There should be 8 large skeletons near the Catacombs of Carthus bonfire.

I was all pve player, with offline farming all covenants, but then step by step I got into it, and online farming is much faster, easier and fun. You get so many items by literally doing nothing, host dying to pve, invader getting ganked as soon as you get summoned and so on. There are also plenty of places you use force, silvercat ring or other cheap methods. In the beginning I would just invade in the Ashes of Ariandel at level 30-40, because many people try it as soon as they can get there and get wrecked. So all you need is to hide somewhere with no enemies nearby and wait. 90 % people that try to proceed die to pve almost instantly. Or just wait near the bridge and hit it at the right moment so they fall along with their buddies. All in all low level is recommended for faster online farming.

thats good tip for new people but for my character thats will not work anymore becouse i had turned red orb as mound maker straight 6h and don't find anyworld but when he find one after that long time i was throwed to too high ng+ world and i was just almost one-shoted by random ringed city mob when i deal like ''1/20'' health bar and host just try to backstab me with dagger or parry i beat many of that kind of players but he was a crazy dude totally pro-player :'D . so for my character i can only farm in pve (after 2h i got 8vertebra)

What level are you farming Vertebra Shackles at? Also instead of using red orb to invade use Wex Dust mod, it's totally safe, been using for a very long time, it'll find a world to invade for you.

never even got to farm vertebra shackles in pve, but it took me the longest to farm them in pvp. Ive spent like ~6ish hours on sl120 character to get and win these gank invasions. Vertebra shackles are a pain.

It will take seemingly forever, but there really is no other way than to find someone who is willing to die for you.

I had a lot more trouble with the shackles than the dregs, but I am sure there is some luck involved. I think I gave up farming for shackles eventually and just started invading as a purple in Anor Londo.

Developers nerfed those to only 10, but are still somewhat impossible to get unless you actually PvP.

In the developers defense, that covenant is focused on PvP, but still, considering there's an achievement tied to it, it can be frustrating.

I just go the PvP for all, is easier than it looks.

human dregs was first and fastest covenant item i farmed i have done almost all covenants now i need only 13more shackles for pyro achi after that i have like 1 miracle from dancer soul and 1 spell from deacons of deep and i will got 3 achi.2 gestures and few more rings. so thats not much
