Best Way to Farm Vertebra Shackles

Title pretty much. I want Warmth, since it's the only healing pyromancy. I'm in the Carthus Catacombs, beating up on those two big skeletons in the hallway from the first skeleton ball. I'm using the mimic head and the luck coins. Is my luck just poor, or am I doing something wrong?

you can offhand sage's rapier to increase item discovery too. fastest way is to get summonned by a friend using the covenant and kill him

Mimic helmet, gold serpent ring, dual wield crystal sage weapons for 100+ discovery. and rusted coins.

Then pray to the RNG gods.

Get a friend, place down a red soapstone sign with the Mound Makers covenant equipped and have them summon you. Kill them and you'll get your vertebra shackle. Same works for Pale Tongue farming if you have something that's not Mound Makers equipped

Best way without help is to do it while you're low level. Get in on forest fights, turn on your fellow invaders if they look more likely to lose. Mad phantoms can take either side to get their shackles.
