Is dark souls 3 safe to play on pc?

Ive played only on console and have heard of poor pc ports. Is ds3 better? And will my vac ban effect me being able to play online?

The port is pretty mediocre, it's not good, but not a complete mess either, if you got at least the minimum specs it will run fine. And no, your VAC ban will not affect your ability to play Dark Souls 3 online.

It's the best port of the 3 DSs. And by that I mean it has the best button combination for mouse + keyboard, though still not great. The menu is still weird to work with and the prompts still show the buttons for controller instead of keyboard, but that's relatively minor. At least now you can see the corresponding key in the menu. Some combinations of buttons are hard to get off, at least for me. Kicking for example is too damn unreliable to ever use. So I assume a controller is better, but unless you're one of the PvP pros for which every frame matters, I'd say it''s very playable. Other than the menu interaction I had no real issues.
