Is Blackflame Friede vulnerable\not resistant to anything?

I'm playing as a sorc and she seems to have a high magic resistance in the third phase of the boss fight.

I have no problem with the first two phases. I don't even use health potions. It's just that she suddenly gets really resistant to magic in the third phase and it severely reduces my dps and greatly increases chances of me screwing up.

I know she can be backstabbed easily but it's not for me. I never play melee characters, I don't like playing melee characters.

Maybe pyromancies or miracles fare better against this boss in the third phase?

I believe the best way to defeat her is to wittle her health down but should that be a bit too difficul you could wait til the wiki-hunters find the weakness and check there.

Insofar as she has any weakness, bleed works pretty well. Father Ariandel is extremely vulnerable to bleed so if nothing else it'll help you reach phase 3 more easily.

If you use bleed you'll beat her easily.

Bleed, r1 spam, constant backstabbing. Dodge her high damage attacks, fist her in return. I have never seen a boss that staggers more easily.

Fire and slashing damage types. Bleed beats (almost) everything as usual.

Even with the ring+ cast speed it was hard to land most of my sorceries on her in the third phase of the boss fight.The first two phases were easy.

She was pretty aggressive and was dodging most of my spells. I respecced to 40\40 faith-int build instead and used dark sorceries (affinity+ great deep soul) it was much easier. I was doing considerably less damage even having +damage buff from the staff, but at least it was a reliable way of doing damage to her and most of my hits got her.

she's weak to poison and toxic as well. if you time your mist well, you can inflict it during the resurection animation
