I've been trying to figure out where to go after ringed city second bonfire

Literally i git gud after dozen times being bursted by angel's machine gun. So i tried hard to be summoned and find the way out as a phantom to let some host show me the way. But instead i just got left died and confused for many times :)

Do you mean Dreg Heap? Since you mention Angels I assume so.

You should go right, to the swamp area, and there at
the end of a swamp you should go up the tree path/branch/roots.

You can rid yourself of angel if you kill summoner nearby.

There is little shack at the edge of a cliff, where you are attacked by
two thieves. Right wall of a shack is a safe spot.

If you look down you can see summoner. Kill him with bow or crossbow.

There is also a shortcut here. If you dash from left side of shack to the cliff
you will fall on a tree branch and will reach next bonfire without need
to go through the swamp. But beware fall does about 1000 damage.

Another summoner is just after swamp, up on the roof.
