DS3 White screen then crash

Hey all, whenever I launch my DS3, it gives me a white screen with a cursor for about 3 seconds then crashes, not allowing me to do anything. I have uninstalled annd reinstalled the files to no avail. Please help

i get that too. my fix to the problem is to not interact with the window until the logos appear. if i click in the window or on the taskbar icon it crashes.

even if i dont interact it crashes

did you try running it as administrator?
if you got any error message post it too.

no error message, the game just crashes

running as admin changes nothing

try this:
Press start, type "msconfig" in the search bar and then hit enter.
Under the "Services" tab, scroll down to "Windows Event Log" and uncheck it.
Hit apply and OK, then restart the computer and try to launch the game again.

I tried that and it didn't fix it, saw that fix online

whats your pc specs?

Intel Core i5-7400 proceessor CPU 3 GZH

8 GB ram
omen desktop pc

I have over 200 hours in the game, it just stopped woorking one day

then i dont know what could cause this. if you updated any driver it might be them but thats my last guess.

Would updating windows have done it?

windows update might be the cause but i cant say for sure. i suggest that you try to roll back if you can to test if it runs.

i bought this game a few hours ago & have been wrestling with this exact issue since, i finally have it working after rolling back my nvidia driver to 466.47, hope this works for you my dude

The option to roll back drivers is grayed out and i can't press it
