In all seriousness, don't cheat for achievements. Is 100%ing a game really worth risking a ban that is next to impossible to get lifted?
I wouldn't be so stuck up onto 100% a game in most cases, but because this is a series I've spent so much time on thus far, and even this game I have already accumulated an easy 60+ hours of gameplay on, I really just want to get it "over" with and be done with it for good until the next FromSoft game comes out.
That being said, I think the platinum in this game IS quite absurd and my complaints are justified. Dark Souls 2 with the Sunlight Medal farming was bad enough with the terrible, terrible drop rates, but this...6 covenants need to be ranked up essentially meaning that you have to farm 150 items is just...what were they thinking?
I played these games mostly for the challenge and metroid-like exploration as well as the lore and the art direction. While Dark Souls 3 is slightly disappointing in design, it doesn't mean I would value PVP more just because the gameplay is more refined than previous entries.
As I said, if I want to play a competitive online game - Dark Souls is not my go-to solution.
