Not if they're like the Bloody Crow of Cainhurst from Bloodborne and have tweaked/infinite durability or something.

Guess I'll just give it at try, it's for the pyro invader at the end of dlc. I almost killed him but he got me with a chaos ball loll

Usually NPC invaders act exactly like players with their stats, minus a few tweaks like more HP or damage output regardless of their actual level. You should be able to do that... but it might not be worth it at all.

I am in ng+ at sl12 so he give me quite a hard time but I've got really close a few times. I'll give it a try and see
