Gentle prayer doesn't seem to give off any health regen - dispite holding it in my hand at all times.
Any ideas?

Make sure you got enough FP left after using Heal Aid to use the Chime's weapon art for activataing gentle prayer otherwise it might not produce an effect.

Yeah, i have the stats, yeah i pressed it. Yeah i kept it in my hand for 60 seconds after using it but i still got no health regen. I guess it's not supposed to used with heal aid?

If you 2-hand your other weapon, the gentle prayer will stop (it's dumb, but at least it's an easy free heal). I recommend using something like a ss if you plan to use it.

Yeah, it doesn't count as being in your hand unlike a lot of other effects if you 2h something even though it is still equipped on left hand. The only one that does still work is Filiaore (however you spell it) Chime IIRC.
