What's Pontiff Weakness?

I Just have a very weak sword which's called Astora Sword +5
im doing a second run with secories but nothing works against this flipper , no time to use magic.
so i guess pontiff weakness will help me to beat him , thanks!

his initial starting attack should be relatively easy to parry, practice it when you 1st enter the boss room.

This. You can get him 1/4th of his health down if you get that parry.

strafe around him and try to do charged thrust attacks. There is an NPC summon (Gottard) he can help take the pressure off of pontif and give you opportune moments to heal and attack em.

He's asking about the boss.

@OP, get a good shield and strafe to your right (around the boss). Some of his attacks won't even hit you.
