Vertebra shackle farming for mound-maker covenant: sulyvahn bonfire, password vertebra
Let's summon each other to farm vertebra shackles the easy way!

I'm putting my red soapstone summon sign in the courtyard outside the sulyvahn arena with matchmaking password "vertebra"

edit: player name Bastila

edit 2: done now. recommended approach for anyone else trying: summon your invader friend then run up to the curved staircase with no railing, let your friend knock you off the edge, then your friend should let you invade.

Nobody has been showing up, so I'll go elsewhere for now. If you'd like to farm vertebra shackles with me please send me a PM or reply on this thread.

I'll take you up on your offer. Just want to duel a bunch, or take turns getting rekt? Gotta get them Shackles for the Warmth pyromancy.

Sorry, gnezz and I already finished getting the 30 we needed. We just took turns killing each other - invader hits host off a cliff, host falls to death, invader gets a shackle.

Pitiful way of farming of otherwise a fun convenant. You don't even need kill host but other invaders or phantoms. It's not like Watchdogs of Farron where you can't invade unless you're 20 SL.

Good job princess.

Just invade you pansy.
Or farm the carthus skeletons.
Hell you're already cheating as is with that method just put them in your inventory and be done with it.

Yeah, let me just drop another $600+ on enough computer hardware to not drop frames like an epileptic beekeeper whenever someone I invade starts swinging their weapon remotely in my general direction. I made the mistake of leveling my pyromancer to sl 120, where the most active invasion is in the pontiff's area, and it's full of ganks. I'm not even claiming I'd get a 1:1 kdr if none of this were the case. But under the circumstances, I don't even really get good opportunities to *practice* before I see someone hyperarmor a greatsword and have to mash B frantically while I stare in suspense at my paused screen for 2 seconds to find out whether my iframes saved me, or whether I'm gonna snap back into real time trapped against a *second* dude straightsword spamming me to death.

And then there's all the disconnects. It feels like pretty much 80% of the time I appear in the world of a player who *doesn't* have a party of havel monster sunbros with Gael's Greatsword and a Four Pronged Plow, they immediately dc as soon as I spawn.

Sounds like a git gud issue and your problem for not wanting to do something you have to put actual effort into.
Perhaps this covenant and it's items aren't for you then.

So, that's what "git gud" meant this whole time. "Get a better PC." Thank you for illuminating that.

Lol, you can earn the shackles with jolly coop too. Place a white purple sign, play coop and help the host.

"Wow, I'm sure whoever is on the other end of this purple sign is a sane and reliable fellow."

:thinking_emoji:

Where would be the best spot to do this at sl 120?
