Alva invasion doesnt trigger in ringed city.
Can it be caused by the fact that I killed all bosses?

You have to find the purging monument [darksouls3.wiki.fextralife.com], there you can pay souls and respawn the boss.

Exactly. No bosses = no invaders.

You can respawn the halflight boss, this might bring the invasion back.

Just reset the Spears of the Church fight then you'll be good to go.

oddly for me on NG+ none of the red phantoms invaded since i had already given tongues to rosaria

I used monument to restore boss, went to place where invasion is supposed to happen...
suspens
...
I got invaded by Alva and wolf ring is mine now.

Were you competely offline? (Steam not simply being not logged into the games server.) Cause I missed a base game invader that way.
