Alva invasion doesnt trigger in ringed city.

Exactly. No bosses = no invaders.

You can respawn the halflight boss, this might bring the invasion back.

You have to find the purging monument [darksouls3.wiki.fextralife.com], there you can pay souls and respawn the boss.

oddly for me on NG+ none of the red phantoms invaded since i had already given tongues to rosaria

Were you competely offline? (Steam not simply being not logged into the games server.) Cause I missed a base game invader that way.

I were online. In both instance when I couldnt get invaded and when she invaded me.
