Is the Lothric Knight Sword good?

Hello. I want to start a new build, and i want to use good weapons, not what i think looks cool. I've searched, and this weapon seems to show up a lot, so is it good? Or its just a meme?

Pretty muchly one of the best, if not the best weapon in the entire game. Long reach, little stamina consumption, fast, excellent scaling, and of course straight swords deal a lot of damage in this game. It's used quite a bit in PvE and PvP due to its all-around versatility.

Don't exclusively use one weapon though, Straight swords (especially the LSS) are for fighting people who are using slow wind up weapons, think of Great swords, Ultra's, Curved swords etc.

You basically have an animation speed/range that is fast enough to stagger them before they hyper armor.

Your WA R1 is also one of the best shield guard breaks in the game, as well as doing moderate damage if they just take it. Your WA R2 has Hyper armor and really good range, useful for initial trading with the LSS and also roll catching or initiating vs PvE mobs that you need to hyper armor to close the range.

On top of that, you can enchant it into any element type and also it has huge range and great AR for a straight sword.

This should be one of your initial +10 weapons.
