Weapon for Faith build
Since Dark Miracles\Hexes aren't much worth to follow (Thank you From, very cool.) i want to switch back to a faith build.

Which weapon would be viable to use in a STR\FAITH and a DEX\FAITH build? Keep in mind it's PvE only, i don't care doing PvP.

I like to maximize damage so to me a str/faith build would be lightning zweihander (lightning clutch ring also) lightning arrow and sunlight spear. You need nothing else imho to be good in pve (but also you'll be part of an invincible team in pvp when ganking reds).

A similar thing you can do (very easymode against most bosses) is to use a bleed weapon like flamberge or corvian scythe + dohry gnaw.

Dohry gnaw applies bleed very fast, some bosses require just 2 hits to get it, so you don't need to invest many points in luck

Also, which is the best talisman for Faith? I'm using the sunless talisman, but since it's mostly for dark hexes, i guess i need to change that aswell

For STR/FTH, consider Wolnir's Holy Sword, Morne's Great Hammer and Earthseeker (1st DLC). You may also consider Saint's Bident but it may not hold vs a good physical spear. For DEX/FTH, I can only think of Dragonslayer's Swordspear and Dragonslayer's Spear, may not be the most practical weapons but they're fun to use. For Lightening dmg talismans specifically, Saint's talisman does the most dmg and the Sunlight talisman has the strongest Unfaltering Prayer, the Canvas talisman is in between. If you wanna use chimes and your FTH is below 50 the Cleric's Sacred Chime scales very well, if FTH is above 50 then it's Yorshka's Chime.
All these suggestions are trash. Listen, you don't want to heavily invest in strength and stuff if you are playing a caster, faith especially. Your early game will be hell, and it will already be tougher than the other two casters because you won't get a decent offensive miracle until ENDGAME.

So here is my suggestion. Don't choose cleric starting class! You can pick pyromancer and get marginally better stat allocation while not really sacrificing anything a faith build needs. You start with like 2 less points into faith I believe (14). So choose pyro, beat gundyr yada yada, once you get to firelink shrine put 1 point into dex and 1 point into faith. You now have access to longsword which gets amazing scaling and tbh is the best straight sword, and you have access to tears of denial and med heal (once you do road of sacrifices).

If the longsword doesn't interest you, you can stick with the mace and save a level in dex. The mace deals extremely good damage, not to mention has the best pve damage type in the game (strike). At +10 chaos/dark infused 40/40 it deals around 512 damage.

So TLDR casters have it rough early game but shine lategame. They have to invest and spread out their stats much more than physical builds, and most don't get access to high damage spells until later on. If you want to invest for larger weapons like mornes hammer (which is trash btw) just do it later on once you get everything you need, respec stats at rosaria.

There are a number of pretty good PvE Weapons that do well with a Faith Scaling one of my Personal Favs is the Lothic Great Sword with Blessed Infus, PvE Lighting is strong and with 60 Faith the Lothic Greatsword (24 Str 16 Dex needed) dos just shy of 700 AR It can be buffed among other things as well <3

edit: Also People who claim Faith Builds are just Hell / Trash dont understand Faith Builds / the Game well enough and sadly need to git gud and out of the mindsight of 40/40 or such. As I Mention the Lothic Greatsword is 24 Str 16 Dex and deals almost 700 AR Base at 60 Faith with Blessed Infusion. Earlyer Game something like Astora Greatsword Lothic Long Sword (11 Str 18 Dex) among many other items in the game

Lightning is Great / Faith builds are the S Class for PvE, It may not be good/great in PvP But as you mention your doing PvE

Faith Build is Top Notch and ppl who claim early game is trash/hell dont understand the game what so ever plunty of good weapons to use early game to help carry yeah till you get a weapon you like. as you mention you can go into NG+ if need be i named one of my more fav that you can get mostly later game. the Lothic GreatSword

I've now realized that my efforts to make Dark Miracles viable were wasted
That 40\40 it's worst than 60 faith
