DS3 inverting colors on entire computer. Blue Becomes Yellow and Vice Versa, even in settings

Just tested it and it is related to starting Dark Souls 3. Just updated windows and when I boot up DS3 it inverts colors. The bandai logo is blue, the bonfire graphic is also blue, and when exiting my default blue windows background is orange.

This carries over into the settings too. Not only are none of the settings which could cause this effect in windows turned on but the color Blue appears like Orange in the menu wherever there is a selection from which to choose.

Has anyone run into this? Is it driver related? How would I know? Thank you.

unless your graphics card is completely ♥♥♥♥♥♥...my only guess would be you have some sort of colorblind mode turned on....im not sure if it even has that as a option... if you have nvidiageforce experience maybe check in there for the colorblind thing. if amd no idea.

if its not colorblind mode then you have yourself a unique challange opportunity lol.

Unique indeed, DS1 doesnt invert anything. Will report back here when I learn more, ty

This is quite strange, if I had to guess it may be a corrupted graphics driver or something wrong with the GPU itself unless it has no reason to be acting up. In the past I experianced colors changing randomly after starting games, among other things, and soon enough my graphics card died (a GT 640 that was old for the time, mind you). I would first try updating your graphics driver to see if it solves the problem

Trying that now. It is worth noting that DS3 doesnt always run smoothly, could I have strained the card?

Updating drivers fixed it, or at least made the effects go away. Booting up the game to see if it stopped it from happening again

Edit: issue remains. Like I said, DS3 is a bit too much for my current rig, sometimes gets choppy. Could I have damaged my card or something? Rig doesnt get hot so I doubt it, and if it was it would have done a hard restart before this point it sounds like

I just started playing the game yesterday and starting it up today I'm faced with the same issue.

Update: Just installed a driver update and it fixed it
