Ringed City Curse Buildup

The bonfire underneath the judicator. Go down the stairs and an enemy is waiting around the corner, apparently the curse aura or whatever that attack is (no warning or animation for it, it just exists) and builds up really fast when you approach that doorway. I cant get around it without being cursed, even with the cursebite r ing on. Within two seconds my entire bar fills up all the way, and he just hides around the corner, camping, like some kind of barrier.

You may use Cursebite Ring with some armor that gives you such defense.

Just run through the door, he'll jump down and you can smack him in the face

Yeah, and these guys are super irritating too. This particular one, in fact. He sits up there and chucks lightning spears down indefinitely. I sat there waiting under cover for him to stop, but he just kept firing at the stupid floor without even me being in eyesight. Don't these guys ever run out of FP?

FP doesn't exist for NPC's

Cant really get an opportunity to attack him, just gotta sit there until the end of the world lol. Kinda boring design to be perfectly honest.

Also has the meta pvp changed or something? I keep running into crazy people who run around naked with a caestus and dagger, parrying and backstabbing everyone into oblivion while naked? Normally people do that with target shield and large weapons haha, and not naked. O.o

Reason people are doing that is because it looks silly and the chaos dagger has the most crit damage in the game.
