im sure theres a way.

When Twitch Plays Darks Souls was happening the streamer wrote some code that actually paused the game so that chat comands were not on such a lag.

Its ceretainly possible, however im not sure it was CE that was used but a custom written mod, at one point the character was taken online for some PVP.

Theres a few tricks that you could use without entirly disabling the AI.
For instance, find a way of reducing the argo range to like 0 so you can walk around and not get attacked. Or change the player "faction" to and enemy group.

That would be fairly easy to do w CE
