What SL should I be for NG+7

I'm not that interested in pvp for my main character, but I was wondering what people thought would still provide a good challenge at that point in the game (I just finished NG+3, and I don't want to overlevel). Unless enemies hit so hard that it doesn't matter, dunno.

Sl 85 - sellsword twinblades with 40 dex will still melt bosses.

I started a new character and I'm planning on going to NG +7 as well simply for the challenge. I'm going to stay at the 120 meta.

Yeah but anywhere between 120 and 130 is fine actually, you will still be able to meet each other

If you want fair duels, you want to go to 125. Being at 120 deprives you of 5 levels as well.

Your SL doesn't matter, then. The only reason there are any recommended SL and weapon upgrade levels is for multiplayer matchmaking, which is PvP.

A good challenge is SL 60-80, you dont have the freedom of having it all and have to pick between a few stats that you wouldnt necessarily be able to hit softcap, if you invest into more than 3 stats. You can still get enough vigor to survive being one shot by bosses, but you will likely die in 2-3 hits so it gives you room for a mistake... just not a big one.
