Lucerne VS Partizan VS Glaive? [PVE]
How do you folks feel about these weapons (in pve) and what do you feel the best infusions and stats for them are? They all seem fairly similar and I'm currently using Lucerne, tempted to try out one of the others (which I got +9 and swung around a lil in firelonk).
Currently: 20 str / 40 dex / 60 int, sharp lucerne +10.
I like the moveset on the Lucerne, and the fact that it can be buffed. The reason I selected the Partizan and Glaive as opposition is because they both share the weapon art (black knight glaive can't be buffed so not an option). From what I can tell from swinging the others around at firelink and checking the +10 damage at blacksmith:

Glaive: Slash version of the lucerne, identical moveset? Practically identical (1 dmg difference) damage with identical stats/infusion/upgrade.

Partizan: multiple damage types, similar moveset with long range forward r1s and aoe sweeping r2s?. With identical stats/infusion/upgrade would do around 70 less damage.

also unrelated but: moonlight greatsword VS greatsword of judgement?

Also it seems like the partizan weapon art is fastest, but I dunno if it's just because it's smaller and LOOKS like it's going faster.

Lucerne is my favorite weapon <3 At 42 poise, you can poise through some of the attacks of ultra great weapons (even the fume gs) with the weapon. Also, the weapon art (weapon art + strong attack) is pretty sexy and unparriable. If you can time it right, You can get up to 800 damage and even more if you get a counter hit in.

Btw, every attack does a thrust attack, so it goes great with the leo ring.

Ontop of all that, it can eat through shields pretty easily, making good for chip and stamina damage, allowing you to get that reposte (so sharp may be the better infusion).

The glaive is essentially like the Lucerne, but since the Lucerne has thrust damage, I think it is better.

No opinions on the partizan since I'm pretty bad at handling spears in general.
I prefer the BKG for its looks, although the Lucerne can be buffed, so most people'd probably go for that, especially with 60 INT. Partizan, I feel is different, and for spears, I like to use the Lothric Long Spear instead. As for the MLGS vs. GSoJ, I like the 2nd, as the buff is nice, and the lunge can catch people off-guard who're expecting the Projectile. Also, it's fashonable

Lucerne is sexy. I've noticed some poise with the weapon art, how much poise would you need for it to be effective againist most regular things? I've also never tried the leo ring with it, I might have to check that out at some point (I guess with leo + lloyds I could get some nice damage off on counters, currently I run bellowing+young+magicclutch+silvercovetous cause I'ma hoe for souls).

I'm guessing MLGS would be considerably better with str/int also? Unless it's similar to GSoJ in that having ridiculous int makes up for it

24 poise possibly? I think that some moves for weapons do more poise damage than others, Like the running katana r1 vs a regular katana r1.

Mlgs physical scaling is garbage forget about it. The mlgs is very efficient as you only need 40 int and base str dex to get a lot of its damage.
Gsoj needs a 26/40/40 build to work best. It's also pretty decent at lower levels.

I prefer the latter but mlgs is probably the better one.

Haha, they both look fun to use, get them pretty late so I've never really considered using them - maybe I'll respec at some point and try them out.
