What DLC should i buy? Ashes Of Ariandel or The Ringed City?

Ringed City gets you more content. If that's how you want to look at it, it's better. It also has more useful weapons, "sexually empowered female" pyro armor and other goodies you may be interested in.

Ringed city is better, it is longer, has some excellent boss fights and some of the best weapons in the game.

Ashes of ariandel adds the pvp arena, 1 descent boss fight ( as well as a fairly meh one) some nice weapons and is considerably shorter.

From a lore/story point of view the end of the ringed city won't make much sense unless you have Ashes of ariandel but it shouldn't make too much of a difference.

The only problem is that Ringed City continues the story of Ashes of Ariandel.
If you don't care about the story that much, and if you only want great level design, with great epic bosses, then buy ringed city first..

However if you want the full story content, then play Ashes of Ariandel first, wait till you have enough money for Ringed City and then play both of them.

IIRC both of the DLCs add Undead Match

If you can afford one or the other, definitely Ringed City just because it has a lot more content and the arsenal full of gimmicks is fun, too.

Yes, both have the Undead Match. For AoA, you need to kill a boss. For Ringed, you need to complete someone's questline. Doing either one of these nets you access to PvP arenas.

Both of them tie in to eachother. If you're concerned with lore stuff and want to play them in order, Ashes of Ariandel should be first. If not, then Ringed City.

the dlc was never on discount so far. not even once so there was no discount on halloween on them either. maybe it will next week during black friday finally. i would definity wait till then atleast. or christmas. if it doesnt go on sale during chirstmas at the latest go and buy a steamkey for them elsewhere where it will be on sale by them for sure.
