Maybe I'll like this game more once I can actually use a sword I like instead of this crappy claymore that does no damage >.>
i will be a bit more helpful than just parroting that though.
you need to focus on learning their attack patterns. focus on dodging before anything else. once you know their patterns and understand their timing, then you can turn around and start dealing damage. also, you really need to focus on stamina management. the quickest way to die is to run out of stamina and not be able to dodge away.
really these guys are pretty easy to deal with. it just takes some practice.
There are 3 distinct styles in DS3
1. Light builds with lots of dodging. These builds are often caster builds.
2. Shield builds (need to never roll ever; it is dfferent playstyle)
3. Giant two-handed dads (no rolling needed, minimum rolling; they break guards and stagger bosses; they trade damage with bosses)
I mentioned in your other post, but an easy way to deal with em is with a sword. Get any straightsword and stance r1 while the cowards are holding up their greatshields. Instant guardbreak. Stack a fire pine bundle before you riposte them and you'll deal that massive dmg easily. Heavy atk em while they're getting back up and the knight should be dead.
Tell him to drop you a flamberge. Has low stats req and drops from an early enemy in the area just after highwall, but its a very rare drop. Deals really good damage if you infuse with heavy too.
Stands for ultra greatsword. They are slow but powerful weapons
ncie job guys I died because the kicks didn't do anything but stagger him for like half a second and then he just killed me anyway
are you guys actually giving advice or are you trying to troll me? Because I'm about ragequit AGAIN.
this game is insufferable without high-damage weapons
